The Naked Florist Experience - Caitlin + Tristan

The world of weddings has a beautiful way of connecting us with people from all over the globe. With the magic of modern technology and video calls, planning a wedding from halfway across the world is no longer just possible, it's seamless. Caitlin and Tristan are the perfect example. They flew in from sunny California to celebrate their love in one of Sydney’s most iconic locations: the Royal Botanic Garden.
Their ceremony unfolded beneath the lush, brimming rose gardens, with Sydney’s skyline peeking through, setting the scene for an effortlessly elegant "I do." The celebration continued just moments away at the Museum of Contemporary Art—perched right on the edge of the harbour, boasting breathtaking views of both the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. A true gift for their international guests, who were treated to an unforgettable experience in the heart of one of the world’s most beautiful cities.
This day is brimming with inspiration for those dreaming of a sophisticated garden-party-style soirée. Think modern romance, elevated styling, and timeless Australian beauty at every turn.
We asked Caitlin some questions about their experience with us as her floral designers and here’s what she had to say.
What stood out the most about your experience with us?
The feeling of personal investment in our story and our celebration from Ash. I felt that she truly wanted to represent us and how we wanted to present the day to our friends and family. She found joy in creating something together with us, bringing her experience and understanding to our ideas, vision and goal. It was a collaborative experience through and through. And every interaction felt like one with a friend.
Did you feel relaxed, confident and informed during the booking process?
Yes absolutely. I felt well looped in, especially with the transparency of pricing which is so important. We were able to flexibly and transparently discuss our goals and expectations and find solutions together. A lot of times a vendor will just say “yep we can do all of those things you want in that budget” just to get you to book. But I loved the honesty, but determination from Ash to help us accomplish those goals, but with clear expectation setting.
If we weren’t to have created for you, do you think your day would have had the same feeling?
Absolutely not. The individuality and quality was far superior to what we could have imagined. The florals were so creative and organic, I wish I could have taken them all home! We got such beautiful feedback from our guests too which was so special.
Did we exceed your expectations in any way?
Yes! I couldn’t have dreamt of the vision ash brought to life. It was colorful, organic, elegant and unique. She created what I struggled to describe, but was so thrilled to see come to life!
Lastly, did you love what we created for you?
We did, and so did our guests:) There were so many unique and eye catching elements, there was always something new to discover each time you looked at an arrangement.
